Shirley is originally from St. Francis and Atwood, Kansas, and calls Colby home with her husband, Gery. They have a daughter, a son, and two adorable granddaughters.
Shirley worked in the banking industry for 25 years before joining Kansas Insurance in 2025. She is licensed in property and casualty. Previously, she was a registered representative for Nationwide Financial and an agent for Nationwide Insurance for nearly six years.
Shirley has been an active member of her sorority for 25+ years with current membership in Kappa Upsilon. She also actively participated in clubs and organizations to support activities her children were involved in. She enjoys watching/attending ball games, playing cards, reading, and traveling.
